Recent Work

Exterior Painting in Rainham | Anticc

The exterior was inspected and prepared, loose paint removed and the walls cleaned down to a sound surface. Careful work around the windows, door frame, decorative mouldings and roofline gave sharp edges. A high quality exterior masonry paint was then applied to the rendered front elevation in a fresh blue, with the white trim around the windows and doorway refreshed for contrast.

Roof Refelt and New Battens in Chatham | Anticc

The roof was stripped back to the rafters, removing all old battens and degraded felt so the timber structure could be inspected and confirmed sound. A new high quality breathable membrane was installed across the full roof, acting as a secondary barrier while allowing airflow to prevent condensation. New treated battens were then fixed, accurately spaced to suit the existing tiles and maintain correct gauge and alignment.

Full Roof Replacement in Chatham | Anticc

A new breathable membrane across the entire roof, then new treated battens accurately spaced for the replacement tiles. The property was re-tiled in modern interlocking concrete tiles in a dark finish. New lead flashing was installed and dressed around the chimney stack for a watertight seal at all junctions, and the abutment where the roof meets the wall, including the low level window detail, was fully reworked with new lead soakers and cover flashings. All verge and edge details were finished neatly.

Flat Roof and Skylight, Rochester | Anticc

New OSB decking boards were installed across the roof to create a strong, level surface, and fresh insulation fitted to improve thermal performance. A high performance torch on felt system was then installed, each layer heat bonded for a fully sealed membrane. Particular attention went to the detailing around the skylight upstand, with precision cutting and careful sealing for complete waterproof protection at all junctions and edges.

Sikalastic Valley Renewal, Rochester | Anticc

The tiles along both sides of the valley were carefully removed, the old lining stripped out and the substrate prepared to give a clean, stable base. The valley was reinforced and primed, then a high performance Sikalastic liquid system applied. Being cold applied and fully bonded, it cures to a seamless, flexible finish with no joints or laps, which removes the weak points traditional felt or lead valleys can develop. The surrounding tiles were then carefully reinstated.

New Flat Roofing System, Rochester | Anticc

New OSB decking boards were installed to create a solid, level surface, then a high performance torch on felt system applied with all joints heat sealed for a fully waterproof finish. Particular attention went to the roof edges, abutments and detailing to ensure effective water runoff.

The exposed masonry was cleaned and prepared to remove dust, salts and debris, with weak areas repaired to give a solid substrate. A high performance cementitious tanking slurry was applied across all walls to form a continuous waterproof barrier against groundwater. Once cured, the walls were finished with a damp resistant render ready for decoration or boarding, and electrical points and service penetrations were sealed correctly to maintain the integrity of the system.

New tiles were laid working methodically from the bottom upward, each one clipped, fixed and aligned, chosen for a rich modern colour blend and strong resistance to wind, rain and frost. The chimney area was rebuilt with new lead flashings installed for a fully watertight seal, and two roof windows were carefully unseated and reinstated during the membrane and battening stage to maintain full waterproofing. Ridge tiles were fitted, all edges, verges and valleys tidied, the site cleaned, and a full aerial inspection carried out to check the roof from every angle.
