A new tiled roof with an integrated flat roof section, combining two roofing types on one property.

What We Found

The project called for both a tiled covering on the sloped sections and a flat roof section, each needing materials suited to its own demands and careful detailing where the two meet.

What We Did

High quality tiles were laid on the sloped sections, chosen for a classic look along with weather resistance and longevity. The flat roof section was constructed using materials that give a robust, leak proof finish able to handle UK weather. The tiled roof slopes into the flat roof section, with the junction detailed so the two work as one system.
