The front of this terraced property had become tired and weathered, and the owner wanted the appearance restored and the surfaces protected against the weather.

What We Found

The painted render, window surrounds, doorway detailing and front facing features all needed preparation before any new coating could go on. Loose, flaking and unstable paint had to come off first, since poor preparation is what causes peeling and patchiness later.

What We Did

The exterior was inspected and prepared, loose paint removed and the walls cleaned down to a sound surface. Careful work around the windows, door frame, decorative mouldings and roofline gave sharp edges. A high quality exterior masonry paint was then applied to the rendered front elevation in a fresh blue, with the white trim around the windows and doorway refreshed for contrast.
