An aged structure with poor insulation and concerns about water ingress. After assessment we recommended a complete warm roof upgrade along with new skylight windows.

What We Found

The existing roof materials were removed and the space prepared, which allowed the new build up to be installed correctly from the deck upwards.

What We Did

High performance Recticel insulation boards were fitted first to improve thermal efficiency, laid precisely for a seamless, airtight fit. A sturdy timber framework was constructed using treated timber and galvanised metal fixings, then OSB decking installed to create a solid base, with openings carefully cut for the new skylights. The skylights were fitted and sealed with weatherproof materials, then a Sikalastic roofing system applied for a durable, flexible and weather resistant finish, with particular attention around the edges and the newly fitted skylights.
