A complete new roofing system, with modern tiles, expert leadwork and a robust dry ridge system.

What We Found

All existing roof coverings, battens and underlayment were removed to expose the roof structure, which was then thoroughly inspected and prepared to ensure a sound foundation.

What We Did

A high quality breathable membrane was laid across the entire roof as a secondary layer of weather protection, followed by precisely measured treated timber battens for uniform support, correct tile alignment and ventilation. Brand new tiles were expertly laid for a consistent, weather tight covering. New lead flashings were installed around all penetrations such as chimneys, and in the valleys, for superior waterproofing at the vulnerable areas. A contemporary dry ridge system was integrated at the apex, securing the ridge tiles mechanically, which removes the mortar that cracks over time, promotes continuous airflow to reduce condensation and lowers ongoing maintenance.
