An existing roof covering nearing the end of its serviceable life, needing a modern, durable and weatherproof replacement.

What We Found

The existing felt covering, underlay and associated flashings were carefully stripped off, and the roof deck inspected for signs of rot, damage or moisture before anything new went down.

What We Did

Access equipment was erected and the surrounding areas protected. A vapour control layer was installed directly onto the prepared deck to stop condensation rising into the roof structure, followed by a 2mm torch on underlay as the first waterproofing layer, then a high performance 4mm mineral felt cap sheet torched on to give UV protection and a durable finish. New lead flashings were installed where the roof meets adjoining walls, and drip edges and trims fitted around the perimeter for proper run off into the gutters. Existing guttering was cleared and re-fixed as needed.
